Congratulations to our patient for breaking a world record!
We proudly congratulate our patient, Austin Kjorven, on breaking the world record for the fastest 10k while pushing a double stroller. Kjorven shattered the previous world record of 45 mins by crossing the finish line in 36:06 mins at the Keeping The Distance 10k in Milton, Ontario.

Dr. Katie MaloneClinic Owner, Chiropractor BSc, DC
Dr. Katie Malone graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Laurentian University, and decided to continue her studies at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. Dr. Malone has competed at the Provincial and University levels as a point guard in basketball, and continues to participate in organized sport, and volunteer in local minor sports as a way to have fun and stay fit. As a clinic owner since 2002, Dr. Malone’s focus is to facilitate healing by creating and maintaining a positive environment that patients look forward to returning to.
Matthew MunroClinic Owner, Clinic Director BSc Kin (Hons), CSCS
Matt graduated the University of Waterloo in 2009 making the Dean's honours list with a Bachelor of Science Honours Kinesiology degree. He is a firm believer in the use of exercise as medicine and incorporates different strengthening techniques into programs to reduce pain and restore function for all ages and backgrounds. Matt has competed in Crossfit, and now enjoys playing hockey, working out and spending time with his family.
Nitin NairClinic Owner, Physiotherapist PT
Nitin is an internationally trained physiotherapist. After graduating in 2009, Nitin started as a physiotherapist in a cardiothoracic and vascular surgery team under the guidance of an eminent cardiac surgeon. His interest and passion in the field of sports and musculoskeletal rehabilitation made him switch from acute care to a musculoskeletal rehabilitation setting. Nitin blends various hands-on physiotherapy techniques with therapeutic exercises to achieve his client’s goals. He is certified in the McKenzie method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT): Lumbar spine, Mulligan concepts and personalized blood flow restriction rehabilitation (PBFR). His clients vary from weekend warriors to elite athletes. He is a huge advocate of the ‘Looking beyond the pain’ model to provide clients with the best care possible. Exercises and activity modification are always important components of his treatment plans to empower clients to reach their health goals.
Dr. Stephen GateChiropractor HBSc, DC
Steve graduated from Queens University in 1994 with a Bachelors Degree with Honour is Life Science. Graduated from National College of Chiropractic in 2000 (Cum Laude) in Chicago. He worked in a very busy multi-disciplinary clinic in Lombard Illinois for four years until returning to Canada to practice. Dr Gate is a firm believer in utilizing chiropractic and physiotherapy together for quicker and more lasting resolution of musculoskeletal injuries. Education of patients is the key for allowing people to take control of their overall health by understanding the importance of maintenance and preventative care.
Dr. Osama MohammadChiropractor
Osama Mohammad grew up in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada where he developed love for a range of sports including boxing, wrestling, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, rugby, swimming, weight lifting, and track and field. Playing both roles as athlete and coach he has a profundity of experience with various sports and their respective injuries and complexities. Osama earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Brock University, where he served as a performance coach for the varsity wrestling team, and as a HELP assistant at Credit Valley Hospital. These roles ignited his passion for injury prevention and care, and he decided to pursue further education in the field. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a Doctor of Chiropractic at The University of Western States. As a recent graduate, he is joining the Physiomed team where he aims to share his model for injury prevention and care with his patients. His goal is to promote a healthier and more self-sustainable lifestyle for his patients.
Sanna is an internationally trained Physiotherapist. She comes with 10+ years of experience in physiotherapy, specializing in neurological and neuro-surgical conditions along with critical care of hospitalized patients. Sanna believes in taking a holistic approach to treatment while rehabilitating her patients.
Dan ChapmanAthletic Therapist / Physiotherapy Assistant
Dan graduated from Messiah University in 2017. He then received his masters of Exercise Science at the University of Concordia in 2019. He is passionate about using active and passive care to help clients achieve their goals. Dan loves sports, either playing or watching. When he isn't at the clinic you can find him at the soccer field or with his wife walking their golden retriever.
Maxine graduated from Sheridan College in 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Therapy and is currently continuing her studies at the Ontario College of Health and Technology by working towards her diploma of Massage Therapy. Maxine believes that the best approach to rehabilitation is a combination of both exercise and manual therapy. Maxine has a deep understanding for sports related injuries as she has been a competitive athlete for most of her life and has worked with a variety of sports teams. When Maxine is not in the clinic she can often be found in the gym.
Tony EliasPhysiotherapy Assistant
Tony graduated from Antonine University in Lebanon with a Bachelor of physiotherapy degree in 2018; he also completed a master’s degree in manual therapy in Belgium and graduated in 2020. He believes that a combination of manual therapy and exercising is one of the best ways to reduce pain and restore function for all ages and backgrounds. Tony enjoys badminton, ping pong and handball.
