Dr. Engineer is the clinical director and owner of the Leaside location. A graduate of Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto (DC) and the University of Western Ontario (BSc.), Dr. Engineer is also a Certified Active Release Provider (ART), a Certified Contemporary Acupuncturist (D.Ac), and a Titleist Certified Golf Fitness Instructor. Dr. Engineer?s integrative approach to treatment, passion to educate and caring attitude lend his chiropractic skills to the successful treatment of his patients and ability to motivate them to a healthy lifestyle.

Dr. Terence Chiu
B.Sc, DC

Dr. Chiu graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto (DC) and from York University (BSc.). Dr. Chiu is also certified as a Contemporary Acupuncture provider as well as a Personal Wellness and Training Coach. It is through Dr. Chiu’s education, dedication and passion towards educating and treating patients in the past ten years, which has helped to inspire his patient’s to live a healthier and fulfilling lifestyle.

Kamran Roshan
Registered Physiotherapist

Kamran graduated with Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 1998. After graduation, he worked in a Provincial General Hospital for 3 years and then ran his own physiotherapy clinic for 4 years in Iran. Kamran has over 14 years of experience and uses several different manual therapies and techniques. Kamran?s main interest is treating musculoskeletal and sports injuries. His knowledge, experience and passion give him the necessary tools to complete the Physiomed Leaside Health team.

Keith Layson
PTA, ACE certified
Physiotherapy Assistant/Clinical Conditionist

Keith is our strength and conditioning specialist. He has a degree in physical therapy and has a post graduate in occupational health cardiac rehabilitation. He is a certified exercise specialist and certified personal trainer by the American Council of Exercise (ACE). His main focus is in exercise evaluation and creating programs especially for diabetic, hypertensive, obese and post rehab patients. He brings a great energy and a large scope of knowledge to the Physiomed Leaside Health team

Clarissa de Leon
B.Sc, D.Pod.M
Certified Chiropodist/Foot Specialist

Clarissa completed her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Cell Biology at the University of Western Ontario and graduated with Dean?s Honour Roll status in 2006. She continued her post-university studies at The Michener Institute for Applied Sciences in the Chiropody program graduating with a Diploma in Podiatric Medicine in 2010. Throughout the program she has developed a special interest in diabetic foot care, surgery, and biomechanics. Clarissa strives to provide optimal patient care by implementing a patient-centered collaborative approach to treatment and education. She is committed to educating the public about Chiropody and its importance and benefits in achieving a healthy lifestyle.

Emilie Gagnon
Registered Massage Therapist

Emilie graduated in 2009 from the Sutherland-Chan Massage Therapy College. Since then she has exposed herself to multiple different types of massage environments, ranging from clinical work, sports rehabilitation, spa & relaxation massage to performing equine/animal massages. Emilie?s extensive list of skills includes, but isn?t limited to: myofascial work, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, Swedish techniques, hot stone therapy, lymphatic drainage, hydrotherapy and craniosacral. ?A healthy body, is a happy body? is something she strongly believes in.

William Francis
Registered Massage Therapist

William is a graduate of Sutherland Chan and became an RMT in 2001. William centers his practice on the specific requirements and expectations of the patient he is treating. William offers many modalities such as Hot Stone, Deep Tissue, Swedish and Sports Massage as well as Reflexology, Aroma Therapy, Cranio Sacral, Reiki, Trigger Point and Hydro Therapies. William also studied nutrition at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition and worked with Ambrosia Natural Foods and he is always happy to talk about nutrition. William chooses his massage oils based upon their nutritional profile and healing qualities. Through deep relaxation and deep de-stressing, whether you require a light soothing touch or deep tissue massage, William?s massage will help to alleviate pain and dysfunction and increase your sense of well-being.

Stevia is proud to contribute to the Physiomed team. She graduated from Everest College in the Medical Office Administration (M.O.A) program, in 2012. Stevia?s strong work ethic and excellent customer service skills keeps her on top of all administration matters. Her warm and cheerful personality makes our patient?s feel welcome and at home.
