Managing Low Back Pain At Home

While our exercise tips normally focus on prevention, sometimes injuries happen and need to be addressed. One of the most common conditions we experience is low back pain. All too often this is the result of excessive, unsupported movement of the lower spine from the time we wake up, right through to the various activities we undertake throughout the day. In the following video, Dr. Jason Lemieux of Physiomed Oakville demonstrates techniques for minimizing stress and strain on your lower back by moving your body (hips, spine and shoulders). This will help to reduce the pain experienced while at work/home in between adjustments at the clinic:
