Minimizing Extended Plane/Car Ride Impacts

Long car trips or plane rides, which often go hand-in-hand with long weekends or travelling for summer vacations, often result in tight hip flexors, quads and hamstrings that ultimately leads to low back pain; reduced muscle activation of the lower body which can cause cramping and stiffness; and poor postural position which predisposes us to headaches, shoulder pain etc. In the following video, Dr. Jason Lemieux of Physiomed Oakville strategies, tools and exercises that can be used to help minimize the impact on our bodies of having spent hours in a car or on a plane:
