Rui Amorim

Chiropractor/Clinic Owner

Dr. Rui Amorim is a Chiropractor and clinic owner of Physiomed Maple where he works with his patients to live an optimal healthy life. This is done by getting to the root cause of a problem and not just focusing on the signs and symptoms of one.

I wanted to be a chiropractor because of the ability the profession has to help those in need without having to prescribe medication in a day and age when there’s an overabundance of prescription medications for the simplest of ailments. More importantly, the human body is a beautiful and powerful thing, often with the right guidance and treatment you can achieve extraordinary things. Your body is a temple, take care of it and it will take care of you!

I believe that being “healthy” and “pain free” are NOT the same and is often confused amongst patients. You’ll often hear me say “Just because you’re pain free does not mean you’re healthy”. This is why I love what I do.I love to educate, challenge and empower patients to be the best version of themselves that they can be.Fortunately, chiropractic care is essential to all and can be used as a great tool to help prevent injuries, treat pain and more importantly help patients live an optimal, healthy life. I take a hands on approach to my treatments by practicing diversified chiropractic care and I’m a certified medical acupuncture provider.

Sports was a major part of my youth and being in the position that I’m in has given me great joy and the opportunityto give back to the community by sponsoring local sports teams/events.

I’ve been practicing in the Maple community since 2011 and I’ve been fortunate enough to meet and treat a multitude of patients from athletes to couch potatoes to patients involved in serious accident to patients wanting to be the best version of themselves that they can be. I look forward to continuing to make my community a healthier place !

Stefania knows and believes that in any job or career one needs to be invested and devoted in the work that they do. She believes that passion and devotion come from the desire to help people. There is nothing more rewarding than the feeling one has when they have changed a person's life or made an impact in some way. This gratification can even be achieved through a simple gesture or a positive greeting at front desk. Sometimes, it may even be taking the extra minute or two to hear about a patient's day. In her classroom, this can be achieved through taking the time to work one on one with students who have difficulty in a particular concept or continuously showing positive attitudes of encouragement towards her students. Finally, Stefania lives by the notion that if we choose a path that devotes our lives in investing in others, then we are are making our personal mark on the world everyday
