Dr. Christopher Schultz
Clinic Owner

Dr. Schultz graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1994 and from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1999. Since that time, as a practising chiropractor, clinic director, multiple clinic owner and founding partner with Physiomed, Dr. Schultz has made it his mission to help improve the health and lifestyles of the people in his community. Through his experience treating thousands of patients and his leadership in training the healthcare practitioners of the future, Dr. Schultz believes that Physiomed has stood out as a whole health leader in the community and will continue to positively impact the lives of the patients that walk through the door.

Dr. Adam Carney
Clinic Director

Dr. Carney graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and has also completed training in Clinical Biomedical Acupuncture and Graston Techniques. Dr. Carney’s passion is to inspire the community towards improved health and wellness by setting the highest standard of collaborative, interdisciplinary care and patient education. Dr. Carney believes in providing quality service for his patients that is unique and specific to each individual. His goal is to educate patients in all aspects of health and wellness in order to not only overcome common injuries but also to prevent future health problems and maximize performance.

Nick Diodati
PT, Hon BKin

Nick has been involved in the health care field since 2001 when he graduated with an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Lakehead University. He began his healthcare career as a clinical Kinesiologist, helping patients recover from a variety of conditions and injuries. He then went on to complete a Masters in Physiotherapy from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY, in 2007. Since joining the Physiomed team in 2009, his passion has been to help individuals recover from injuries and achieve their optimal health through preventative therapies as well as health and lifestyle education.

Dr. Anthony Yearwood
DC, B.Sc.

Dr. Yearwood graduated from the University of Toronto with a B.Sc. in Neuroscience before completing his Doctor of Chiropractic at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis Missouri. Dr. Yearwood is a published author in the Journal of Brain Research. Dr. Yearwood has trained and instructed Kenpo Karate for many years and has taken the goal-oriented ideals of martial arts and incorporated them into his practice. Dr. Yearwood practices neurologically centered subluxation based chiropractic and believes that a well-educated patient is the essential partner for good health.

Jordan Hibbert
Active Care Specialist

Jordan attended Adelphi University, located in Long Island, NY, where he completed his Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Biology. Having taken courses in biochemistry, anatomy and physiology, cellular biology and molecular and physiological aspects of nutrition, Jordan has a great understanding of how the human body functions. Jordan also has experience as a personal trainer providing one-on-one sessions to clients. Jordan attended Adelphi University on a full scholarship where he competed as the captain of their soccer program. In his time at Adelphi, Jordan was a recipient of the Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholarship Award, a nationally recognized award given to student-athletes across all NCAA divisions for their achievements both on and off the field of play in regards to academics, community involvement and student leadership efforts. Jordan’s passion to help others is what drives him to motivate individuals on how to be an active participant in their own well-being through promoting healthy lifestyle education in order for them to be sound in both body and mind. In his spare time, Jordan is a coach at Sigma Sports Solutions, an elite soccer academy based in Mississauga where he trains players from the youth development stages all the way up to the semi-professional level.

Shakaana Karvannathasan
Active Care Specialist

Shakaana graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelors of Science degree in Honours Kinesiology and a Minor in Psychology. Through her studies she has developed a solid understanding of the human body from a functional, structural, physiological and biomechanical point of view. Through her experiences with UW Well-fit she strongly believes in using a holistic approach to health and wellness, integrating the body and mind. Shakaana has always had a passion for helping others, and strives to help the community improve in social, physical and psychological aspects of health. Shakaana is also a professionally trained Bharathanatyam dancer, takes part in dance performances and enjoys teaching students in her spare time.

Moe Naeem
Active Care Specialist

Moe graduated from York University where he completed his Honours Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology and Health Science. Moe has a passion for helping people with various injuries return to their former selves, and motivating people to push past their limits in a fun and effective way. He has always enjoyed science and playing sports. As such, he naturally chose a career path that encompassed both. As Moe has taken courses in Nutrition, Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, and Anatomy, he has always had the desire to become more educated and disseminate that knowledge to others. Moe aspires to help individuals become healthier and stronger so they can have a better quality of life. In his spare time, Moe enjoys playing Basketball and working out

Vijay Ramroop
Active Care Specialist

Vijay attended the University of Guelph-Humber where he graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology, awarded by the University of Guelph, and a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion, awarded by the Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. He is very knowledgeable in exercise prescription, fitness assessment, exercise physiology, nutritional counseling and coaching therapeutic exercise for musculoskeletal injuries. His internships have provided him a bridge between the knowledge and skills acquired during his education. Vijay is also a Certified Personal Trainer with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. He is passionate about what he does and is committed to improving the health and well-being of his patients. In his spare time he enjoys playing basketball, biking, cooking, and from time to time he partakes in recreational bodybuilding. He also considers himself a car enthusiast!

CJ Siharath
Active Care Specialist

Crystalyn (CJ) graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Honours Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology. She is currently working towards becoming a Registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. CJ has a passion for helping others. She dedicates her time to promoting healthy active living and assisting patients to properly recover from injury and reach their full potential. In her spare time she likes playing basketball and golf and also enjoys outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, and camping.

Zabi Salihi
D.Ch., B.Sc.
Chiropodist/Foot Specialist

Zabi attended the University of Toronto where he completed his Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Biological Anthropology and Human Biology. After university, he attended The Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences where he received a graduate advanced degree of health sciences in Chiropody (D.Ch). Zabi has always been fascinated by medical sciences, has a desire for helping others, and is respected for his professionalism, enthusiasm, knowledge and friendliness. From a young age, he has envisioned himself as a primary health care professional, and chose to become a Chiropodist/Foot Specialist.

Steve Lee
Registered Massage Therapist

Steve is an associate member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and graduated from Sutherland-Chan School & Teaching Clinic in 2012. Steve has vast clinical experience treating in a variety of settings with specializations in sports therapy, pregnancy treatment, spinal cord injury rehabilitation at the Toronto Rehabilitation Lyndhurst Centre, and pre/post thoracic surgery treatments at Toronto General Hospital.

Jason Hensen
Registered Massage Therapist

Jason is a registered practitioner for massage therapy and contemporary medical acupuncture. It has always been his passion to help people achieve better health. He enjoys seeing people feel better about themselves, teaching clients about their bodies and how things work. He is committed to discovering the reasons for injuries and working with clients to help the healing process.

Dr. Mojan Zehtabchi
ND, B.Sc.

“Dr. Z” completed her honours Bachelor of Science with an emphasis on Human Biology and Cell System Biology at the University of Toronto in 2009. In 2013 she received her doctorate degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) where she the Natural Standard Research Collaboration Academic Achievement Award during the four-year program. Mojan was among the twelve interns elected by Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine to work at the Brampton Naturopathic Teaching Clinic, which was the first Naturopathic clinic in a hospital setting in Canada, at Brampton William Osler Health Centre. Mojan has experience working alongside healthcare providers of many different disciplines treating a variety of conditions ranging from sports injuries to infertility. This experience has allowed Mojan to see first-hand how the integrative health care model provides patients with the best care. Dr. Z is trained in the Healthy and Active program, which is a metabolic weight loss regimen based on blood chemistry. She has also completed a three-month preceptorship in a weight management program called Be Your Best Self. Mojan practices Mesotherapy to treat cellulite, localized fat, alopecia, pain, and arthritis and she is also trained in Homotoxicology, which uses combinations of homeopathic remedies to stimulate detoxification. Mojan is also familiar with Biolinguistic Kinesiology, which focuses on the clinical practice of mind-body medicine.

Audrey Long
B.Sc., R.Ac.
Registered Acupuncturist

Audrey is a graduate of The Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences and a registered Acupuncturist with CTCMPAO. After obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at The University of Western Ontario, Audrey was in pursuit of a career goal that bridged her personal philosophy of health and wellness that is grounded in ancient Chinese medicine with her understanding of the practical needs of the modern world. Audrey discovered an outlet for her passion that was grounded in her own origins. As she explains it, “The principles of Chinese medicine are consistent with my own values and how I believe people should live their lives. Delivering healthcare solutions that are holistic and focused on the entire body and mind give me a great sense of accomplishment as I treat my patients.” Audrey’s training in traditional Chinese medicine included acupuncture, herbal medicine, TuiNa (Chinese Massage) Qi Gong and Tai Qi. In addition to her formal program at the Michener Institute, she has also completed other short programs which include Acupuncture for Pregnancy and Labour and Cosmetic Acupuncture. The latter was provided by Mary Elizabeth Wakefield, one of the leading proponents of facial renewal techniques in the world today.

Elise joined the talented and energetic Physiomed team in early 2010. She has a background in sales management and customer service. She believes that we are an industry leader in healthcare and that everyone can benefit from our “Whole Health” solutions. She is passionate about her role in helping to change our patients’ lives both at the reception desk and administratively.
