Dr.Bryan Ma

Chiropractor and Acupuncture Provider

Dr. Ma is a chiropractor, certified acupuncture provider, and FR (functional range release) practitioner and has been with Physiomed Nobleton since 2015. He is a proponent of both passive and active care being the basis of an optimal treatment plan. As each patient is unique, a treatment plan should reflect that with the expectation of providing the best possible care to the patient. Dr. Ma believes that the ultimate goal is to empower patients with the tools and ability to strive for a healthier and pain-free lifestyle. Dr. Ma is excited to service the community of Nobleton and surrounding area in helping them do the things they love while being healthy and pain-free. In his free time, Dr. Ma likes to hit dingers in his recreational softball league and work on his golf game that needs a lot of work.

Dr. Ma is currently the medical trainer for the Vaughan Kings AAA hockey organization.

Nilesh Thakor

Nilesh’s focus is firmly on the needs of his patients. His strength is in setting reachable goals with clients and providing the guidance to achieve them. He has found his best outcomes result from treatment focused on education and exercise combined with manual therapy such as joint mobilization, soft tissue manipulation, nerve mobilization, and other therapeutic techniques. Nilesh believes that the client knows their body well and by taking the time to listen, he can provide the client with exactly what they need. His education, experience, and an analytical mind set him apart.

Chris Peterson
Massage Therapist

Chris grew up in the Alliston area, graduating from Banting Memorial High School. He continued his education at Algonquin College in Ottawa for the next 3 years, graduating with an Advance Diploma in Massage Therapy. Coming back to his home town, he wishes to treat every patient with consistently efficient health care through his skills, and the skills of his coworkers.

Katalina Salazar
Active Care Specialist

Katalina has lived in Nobleton for 7 years and is a graduate from the University of Guelph-Humber, where she attained her Degree in BASc. Kinesiology and a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion. The gym is also a big part of her weekly routine where she incorporates both resistance and cardio training into her workouts. In her spare times she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and water sports at her cottage. One of her upcoming goals is to attend Chiropractic college here in Toronto at CMCC. As a member of Physiomed her goal is to bring awareness to both her patients and the community about the benefits of a healthy and active lifestyle.

Elizabeth Pollock
Clinic Coordinator, Manual Osteopath

Elizabeth has been working in rehabilitation as a Kinesiologist and more recently a Manual Osteopath. She is passionate about educating clients on how to lead a healthier lifestyle and live pain free. She has a strong background in active therapy and currently works with professional and amateur athletes in the OHL, AHL, NHL, NLL and NBA. She believes the interdisciplinary approach is the most effective way of approaching an injury and getting patients back to daily life without pain. Her belief is that every patient and injury is unique and requires a specialized assessment and treatment plan. In her spare time Liz enjoys playing ball hockey or you will find her upside down attempting a new yoga pose.

Paige Hawkins
Massage Therapist

Paige is one of our Registered Massage Therapists. She graduated from Algonquin College with an Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy. She has been practicing since November 2016. Paige enjoys deep tissue, therapeutic treatments but also provides relaxation/wellness massage. She loves working in a multidisciplinary clinic because patients receive well rounded treatment from an enthusiastic team. Her favourite types of massage include sports rehabilitation, TMJ and symptoms from motor vehicle accidents such as whiplash and nerve impingement.
