Dr. Joanne HartleyClinic Director, Chiropractor BSc., DC
Dr. Hartley began her professional career at the University of Toronto in the Neuroscience program. She then went on to graduate from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1998. During her professional tenure, Dr. Hartley developed extensive experience in orthopaedics, working with other health care practitioners and realizing the huge positive impact on taking an interdisciplinary approach to healthcare. Dr. Hartley has also completed a 3 year post-graduate program in Rehabilitation. She has a passion for acquiring new skills and "tools" to treat her patients as she has acknowledged through her many years of experience that every patient responds differently. Dr. Hartley believes in passing her knowledge and experience to her staff and patients not only to treat commonly referred conditions but to prevent further injuries and maximize performance through education and the development of safe and effective exercise programs.

Deepa graduated from India with a Bachelor in Physiotherapy in 2002. Deepa’s present clinical specialization includes skills in manual therapy, soft tissue therapy (IASTM), neurological, musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions. She has gained great experience to help patients with physical difficulties to improve their health and quality of life. She engages herself in continuous quality improvement processes that include the development, implementation, and evaluation of new or improved physiotherapy services to enhance client care as appropriate. She values the best interest of clients and treats all clients with compassion, respect and dignity, always keeping the client in the center of care. She understands the importance of collaborative care and working with other health care professionals for the best interests of her patients.

Jaymin is a foreign trained physiotherapist with 6 years of clinical experience, He loves enabling his patients to find their full potential in leading healthier lives. He primarily sees patients of various ages for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions as a result of every day wear and tear, sports injuries, work-related injuries, and car accidents. He is also certified in treating patients who have suffered concussions. He is an avid music listener and you might find soothing music accompanying his treatment to foster a calm and healing environment.

Mary Joy is strongly committed to promoting health and wellness. As a physiotherapy assistant and a member of the Physiomed Danforth team since 2008, her goal is to bring a broad spectrum of skills to her clients. She is a foreign-trained physiotherapist from the Philippines working on obtaining her Canadian physiotherapy license. She has extensive training in manual therapy, thermal and electrical therapies, and soft tissue therapy. Mary Joy helps her patients achieve their individual goals by implementing a wide variety of physiotherapy tools and working collaboratively with other healthcare providers. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Vidhi is a foreign-trained physiotherapist from India and is currently working toward obtaining her Canadian physiotherapy license. Vidhi Rupareliya is passionate about helping people move better and feel their best. She enjoys supporting patients through their recovery by assisting with exercises, therapy techniques, and day-to-day care. She is keen on learning new techniques to support recovery and improve patient outcomes. She values teamwork and works closely with our licensed physiotherapists to provide a positive and supportive treatment experience. In her free time, Vidhi enjoys staying active with yoga and light workouts, trying new foods and cafés, learning new things, and exploring new places. She also likes to spend time with family and friends.

Judith is a foreign-licensed physiotherapist from the Philippines. She graduated from Cebu Doctors’ University with a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2019. She is currently working toward obtaining her Canadian physiotherapy license. She is compassionate and dedicated to supporting patient recovery through personalized care, guided exercise programs, and a positive, encouraging environment. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, playing volleyball, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Mohammed Tarik DalPhysiotherapy Assistant PTA
Tarik graduated from India with both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. He is in the process of obtaining his Canadian physiotherapy license. He has specialized expertise in musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, neurological and cardiovascular rehabilitation, as well as strength and conditioning. Tarik has also completed advanced training in pain management, soft tissue release, manual therapy, and cupping therapy. Passionate about patient-centered care, he applies therapeutic exercises and personalized treatment plans with a compassionate approach. Known for his excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Tarik is committed to supporting patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals. Outside of his professional practice, Tarik stays active through sports like cricket and volleyball and enjoys learning about North American baseball. He is also dedicated to gym and calisthenics workouts and enjoys playing FIFA with friends on Playstation.

Maria is an experienced massage therapist with 16 years of experience. She graduated from Everest College with a Diploma in Massage Therapy with Honours in November 2009 and became a Registered Massage Therapist in January 2010. She specializes in General Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Treatment, Trigger Point Therapy, and Pregnancy Massage. She also utilizes cupping and joint mobilization techniques. It is Maria’s passion and love for her profession that keep her busy at work. The people she treats feel it through the healing touch that comes from her hands and through genuine concern and care that she shows in every patient she works with. She is also a team player, one who works with other practitioners to help patients achieve their goals.

Ranjith is a registered Massage Therapist who graduated from Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy in Toronto in 2017. Since this time, he has worked in an array of clinical settings. He has gained experience in dealing with all types of orthopedic and neurological conditions. His vast previous experience as a physiotherapist in India has added to his expertise in dealing with different clinical conditions. He maintains effective communication with his clients regarding their treatment plan and their follow-up program. His treatments are always directed towards pain relief and relaxation of tight muscles by employing different techniques like General Swedish Massage, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, fascial release, and joint mobilizations. His treatment sessions always include education regarding therapeutic home exercises, which is highly effective in maintaining the effects of massage. His hobbies include reading, listening to music, and travelling.
