Dr. Christopher SchultzChiropractor and Clinic Owner DC, BSc (HONS)
Dr. Schultz graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1994 and from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1999. Since that time, as a practising chiropractor, clinic director, multiple clinic owner and founding partner with Physiomed, Dr. Schultz has made it his mission to help improve the health and lifestyles of the people in his community. Through his experience treating thousands of patients and his leadership in training the healthcare practitioners of the future, Dr. Schultz believes that Physiomed has stood out as a whole health leader in the community and will continue to positively impact the lives of the patients that walk through the door.
Dr. Adam CarneyChiropractor and Clinic Director DC, CMA, BAHK
Dr. Carney graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and has also completed training in Clinical Biomedical Acupuncture and Graston Techniques. Dr. Carney’s passion is to inspire the community towards improved health and wellness by setting the highest standard of collaborative, interdisciplinary care and patient education. Dr. Carney believes in providing quality service for his patients that is unique and specific to each individual. His goal is to educate patients in all aspects of health and wellness in order to not only overcome common injuries but also to prevent future health problems and maximize performance.
Dr. Anthony YearwoodChiropractor DC, B.Sc.
Dr. Yearwood graduated from the University of Toronto with a B.Sc. in Neuroscience before completing his Doctor of Chiropractic at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis Missouri. Dr. Yearwood started practicing in 1997 and is a published author in the Journal of Brain Research. Dr. Yearwood is an examiner of the CCEB (Canadian Chiropractic Examination Board) – the council charged with determining if graduating chiropractors possess the required competency to practice in Canada.
Dr. Yearwood is a black belt in Kenpo Karate and has trained and instructed Kenpo Karate for many years. He has taken the goal-oriented ideals of martial arts and incorporated them into his practice. Dr. Yearwood practices neurologically centered, subluxation based chiropractic and believes that a well-educated patient is the essential partner for good health.
Abdullah is a graduate from the Physical Therapy program at the University of Toronto. Prior to that, he completed his Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at York University. Abdullah decided to pursue a career in physiotherapy after injuring himself a few times in University and learning how important maintaining your body in optimal condition is. He has many years of personal training experience with clients of all ages and abilities, and his knowledge combined with a desire to help others is what drives him to continue learning. Abdullah is committed to continuing to expand his skill set through post-graduate courses in order to best help his clients. Currently, he is certified in acupuncture, soft tissue release, and is working towards an advanced manual therapy certification from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Abdullah strongly believes in patient education as an essential tool in empowering patients to take an active role in their rehabilitation. He emphasizes a measured approach to recovery which incorporates lots of hands on manual therapy techniques, and when appropriate therapeutic exercise progressions to challenge the body to reach its optimal state. His goal is not solely treating his patients’ symptoms, but rather to find the root cause of these symptoms in order to best treat the patient and to ensure they are well equipped to minimize their symptoms from coming back in the future.
Outside of work Abdullah enjoys playing basketball, weightlifting, traveling, and cooking. He is a fan of the Toronto Raptors and Liverpool FC.
Nick DiodatiPhysiotherapist PT, Hon BKin
Nick has been involved in the health care field since 2001 when he graduated with an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Lakehead University. He began his healthcare career as a clinical Kinesiologist, helping patients recover from a variety of conditions and injuries. He then went on to complete a Masters in Physiotherapy from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY, in 2007. Since joining the Physiomed team in 2009, his passion has been to help individuals recover from injuries and achieve their optimal health through preventative therapies as well as health and lifestyle education.
Sharmeel BhattiActive Care Specialist B.Sc., M.Sc. PT (UK), R. Kin
Sharmeel's interest in health and rehabilitative sciences began after physiotherapy interventions helped him to recover from basketball-related knee injuries. He graduated with a BSc. in Biological Sciences from Brock Universityaza and went on to attain his Kinesiologist registration with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. Following a year of practice in a multidisciplinary clinic, Sharmeel completed his MSc. in Physiotherapy from University of Limerick in 2019. Since then, Sharmeel continues to aid clients in being the strongest version of themselves using evidence-based physiotherapy practice.
Vijay Ramroop Active Care Specialist BASc., R.Kin
Vijay attended the University of Guelph-Humber where he graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology, awarded by the University of Guelph, and a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion, awarded by the Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning. He is very knowledgeable in exercise prescription, fitness assessment, exercise physiology, nutritional counseling and coaching therapeutic exercise for musculoskeletal injuries. Vijay is a Registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario and is also a Certified Personal Trainer with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. He is passionate about what he does and is committed to improving the health and well-being of his patients. In his spare time he enjoys playing basketball, biking, cooking, and from time to time he partakes in recreational bodybuilding. He also considers himself a car enthusiast!
Alysia Shivji Active Care Specialist B.Sc., M.Sc. PT (UK)
Alysia attended the University of Toronto where she completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Her keen interest in combining health and fitness led her to pursue her Master's in Physiotherapy at Brunel University, London, UK. Alysia is passionate about improving the well-being of others and strongly believes in the benefits of a healthy lifestyle on injury rehabilitation and prevention. Alysia is also a Certified Personal Trainer with Canfit Pro Canada. Her hobbies include dancing, distance running, squash, travelling and exploring the outdoors.
CJ Siharath Active Care Specialist B.Sc., R.Kin
Crystalyn (CJ) graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Honours Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology in 2017. She is a Registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario as of June 2018. CJ has a passion for helping others. She dedicates her time to promoting healthy active living and assisting patients to properly recover from injury and reach their full potential. CJ is passionate about understanding how the mechanics of the human body affect rehabilitation, maintenance, and sport-specific training. She takes pride in following her patients from start to finish and being an integral part in helping her patients reach their goals. Christina TsakonasActive Care Specialist BAHK, M.Sc. PT (UK)
Christina graduated with an undergraduate Honours Specialization degree in Kinesiology from Western University. She then went on to complete a MSc in Physiotherapy degree from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland. Having recently moved back to Canada from the UK, Christina is now working towards becoming a licensed physiotherapist in Canada and hopes to become registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Through her studies and clinical placements in varying physiotherapy settings, Christina has gained invaluable knowledge and experience in the treatment and education of patients to promote long term health and wellbeing.
Zabi attended the University of Toronto where he completed his Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Biological Anthropology and Human Biology. After university, he attended The Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences where he received a graduate advanced degree of health sciences in Chiropody (D.Ch). Zabi has always been fascinated by medical sciences, has a desire for helping others, and is respected for his professionalism, enthusiasm, knowledge and friendliness. From a young age, he has envisioned himself as a primary health care professional, and chose to become a Chiropodist/Foot Specialist.
Dr. Vanessa TestaguzzaNaturopath ND, B.Sc. (Hons)
Dr. Vanessa completed her naturopathic medical training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. She also holds an Honors Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto in Nutritional Science and Neuroscience.
Dr. Vanessa is passionate about educating and guiding her patients so that they are able to reach their ultimate health goals. She aims to optimize her patients’ health by addressing diet and lifestyle, among other factors, to prevent the development of disease. Dr. Vanessa uses a variety of treatment modalities including: botanical medicine, traditional Chinese medicine (acupuncture and cupping), nutritional and lifestyle counselling.
Dr. Mojan ZehtabchiNaturopath ND, B.Sc.
Dr. Mojan Zehtabchi, ND, completed her honours Bachelor of Science with an emphasis on Human Biology and Cell System Biology at University of Toronto in 2009. In 2013, she received her doctorate degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) where she achieved the Natural Standard Research Collaboration Academic Achievement Award during the four-year program.
Dr. Mojan Zehtabchi, ND has experience working alongside healthcare providers of many different disciplines treating a variety of conditions ranging from sports injuries to infertility. This experience has allowed her to see first-hand how the integrative health care model provides patients with the best care. Dr. Mojan Zehtabchi, ND has also completed her Naturopathic Doula training, which provides her with a more in-depth perspective on labour, as well as pre and postnatal health.
In her free time she volunteers with the Canadian MPS Society as a member on their Board of Directors and Research and Member Relations Committee. She also presents on a variety of health topics for organizations like the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, the National MPS Society (USA) and Hooper's Pharmacy to name a few.
Elizabeth PennefatherRegistered Massage Therapist RMT
Liz has been in the Physiomed family since 2009 when she began working with the Physiomed Corporate Wellness Team. She believes that an interdisciplinary team-based approach is often the best way for patients to rehabilitate their injuries, enhance healing and recovery, and achieve optimal well-being. Liz has many years of clinical experience treating in a variety of settings with specializations in Swedish massage, sports therapy massage, pre-natal & post-natal massage, infant/child massage, dynamic posture techniques, and Indian head massage.
Steve LeeRegistered Massage Therapist RMT
Steve is an associate member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and graduated from Sutherland-Chan School & Teaching Clinic in 2012. Steve has vast clinical experience treating in a variety of settings with specializations in sports therapy, pregnancy treatment, spinal cord injury rehabilitation at the Toronto Rehabilitation Lyndhurst Centre, and pre/post thoracic surgery treatments at Toronto General Hospital.

Jason is a registered practitioner for massage therapy and contemporary medical acupuncture. It has always been his passion to help people achieve better health. Larry WangRegistered Acupuncturist R.Ac., TCM
Larry is a registered Acupuncturist with CTCMPAO. He is a graduate of The Hunan University of Chinese Medicine in the department of Acupuncture and Manipulation, and has been practicing acupuncture in hospitals and clinics for over 29 years in China and Canada. Larry’s training in traditional Chinese medicine includes acupuncture, herbal medicine, TuiNa (Chinese Massage) Qi Gong and Tai Qi. Larry is a member in good standing with the Chinese Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion and is also a member in good standing with the Canadian Association of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.

Elise joined the talented and energetic Physiomed team in early 2010. She has a background in sales management and customer service.
