Dr. A. MajidiChiropractor and Clinic Director B.Sc., D.C., G.T.
Dr. Majidi's medical background stems from four years at York University followed by four years at New York Chiropractic College (NYCC), where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic. He gained valuable experience at NYCC ranging from pediatrics to Graston Technique ® at NYCC Depew Health Centre. Dr. Majidi is a member with good standing in the Ontario Chiropractic Association (OCA) and Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA) and is licensed in both Canada and the United States. Dr Majidi’s philosophy is wellness-based and is centered upon improving patients’ quality of life. He specializes in spinal and joint manipulation coupled with various soft tissue techniques to regain optimal function. He is a certified Graston Technique ® practitioner and specializes in Pediatric/Youth Scoliosis Therapy and Lumbar Spine Disc Herniation Traction. He has a passion for sports such as Soccer and Squash and has been a chiropractor for several soccer teams in Ontario.
Luba ChopiakRegistered Physiotherapist M.Sc., R.P.T.
Maternity Leave Luba graduated from McMaster University Physiotherapy grogram in 2010. Since her graduation she has completed Medical Accupuncture program, which she has been applying successfully for treatments of various neurological and musculoskeletal problems. She has also completed Manual Therapy program that she has been using as her treatment technique. At this time she is specializing in Mckenzie mechanical diagnosis and treatment program that she uses to treat lower back and neck pain. On her own she leads an active and healthy lifestyle. She is also a Pelvic Floor practitioner, who specializes in pelvic floor dysfunction and urogynecology.
Fairy is a resident Physiotherapist, in good standing with the College of Physiotherapy of Ontario. She
graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Jundishapour University of Medical Sciences in 2009
and finished her master’s degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Social Welfare and
Rehabilitation in 2014. She worked as a Senior Physiotherapist in both in-patient and outpatient settings
for 10 years in Iran. She has had the opportunity to work with a variety of conditions, such as,
neurological, pediatrics, musculoskeletal, and post-surgical conditions. Fairy is a skilled physiotherapist
with a passion for helping individuals regain optimal health and enhance their quality of life. She
empowers her patients to actively participate in their own rehabilitation process, for reduced risk of
future injuries. Her goal is to alleviate pain and educate patients on injury prevention strategies and self-
management techniques to promote their quality of life in the long run.
Evita Danielle IquinaPhysiotherapist Assistant
Danielle finished her bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy from Iloilo Doctors’ in 2019. She is a physical therapist registered in the Philippines and is currently a resident physiotherapist in Ontario. During her time in the Philippines, she worked closely with the community to provide affordable and accessible physiotherapy services to low income communities. During this time, she was also working at a hospital that catered to acute and chronic neurologic and orthopedic conditions. Her techniques of choice are Soft Tissue Release, Joint Mobilization, and Exercise Prescription. Danielle is passionate about providing a person-centered approach to care and helping individuals reach their personal rehabilitation goals.
Dr. Kristyn CapizzanoChiropractor D.C.
Dr. Capizzano, a graduate of Boston College, was an active member of the college's NCAA, Division I Women’s Hockey program. She also captained Team Canada U18 Women’s hockey team and was a first-round pick in the 2017 Canadian Women’s Hockey League Draft.
Most recently, Dr. Capizzano, graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California, where she excelled in providing a variety of hands-on Chiropractic techniques and soft tissue therapies. She was recognized by the College and nominated as a top Clinical Excellence recipient.
Dr. Capizzano continues to be passionate about leading a healthy and active lifestyle. She is committed to providing exceptional individual focused, high quality care using a multidisciplinary therapeutic approach. Maria CerneatoviciChiropodist
Maria discovered her passion for healthcare after graduating from York University with a degree in Kinesiology and Health Science with distinction. Following that, she studied Chiropody at the Michener Institute of Education, where she received her advanced diploma three years later. As a Chiropodist, Maria aims to provide a comprehensive treatment plan that emphasizes foot health promotion, patient education and disease prevention. She looks forward to getting to know her patients and helping them get back on their feet as soon as possible!
Yasi (Yasaman) is a Registered Acupuncturist graduated from Eight Branches College of Eastern Medicine. She has been trained on Scalp acupuncture and abdominal microsystems for pain management. Also she is certified in Cosmetic Acupuncture, which helps with reducing wrinkles, lifting the skin, and collagen boosting Over 10 years of experience working in a health care setting, giving Yasi a wealth of knowledge on patient care and rehabilitation. She has lots of experience treating patients with chronic pain and various muscle injuries. She understands that every patient is unique and will adjust her treatment to fit the individual needs of each patients.
Maksym FedakCertified Athletic Therapist (CAT)
Maksym is an experienced athletic therapist and kinesiology graduate from York University with over four years of experience in professional clinics. Maksym has experience treating a wide range of patients, from children to seniors recovering from acute and chronic injuries, using various manual therapies, modalities, exercise prescription and even supportive bracing and taping. His techniques of choice include soft tissue release, joint mobilizations, traction, corrective exercises and all types of taping. Maksym enjoys devoting his time and skills to various charity and fundraising events, such as the Scotiabank waterfront marathon and the North American Indigenous Games. Maksym enjoys living an active and healthy lifestyle, in his spare time he takes part in mountain biking, hiking, backcountry camping, soccer, and skiing.
Carina StraubeAthletic Therapist
Carina completed her Athletic Therapy degree at Sheridan College, after completing a Bachelor’s degree in Physical and Health Education at Nipissing University. She completed placements involving high level athletes of various different sports, ages and skill levels. Carina is also a Certified First Responder, and has experience providing emergency medical care in both the sporting world and the film industry. Aside from working with the athletic population, Carina also has clinical experience working with youth, post-op patients and the weekend warrior, using various techniques such as exercise prescription, modalities, soft tissue release and joint mobilizations. Carina is passionate about working with her clients to get them back to doing the activities they love. She believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to rehabilitation, and aims to tailor her treatment techniques to fit each client’s individual needs and performance goals.
Arvin AragonesAthletic Therapist
Arvin graduated from York University receiving a BA (Hons) Degree in Kinesiology as well as being a Certified Athletic Therapist. In his 4+ years of clinic experience and working with various collegiate, university and professional-level athletes, He has treated patients as early as 7 and as up to 90 years old. He has experience treating both acute and chronic injuries by means of manual therapy, therapeutic modalities and most importantly through exercise. He believes that mobility and movement is medicine and is the key to living a functional, healthy and happy life. Leading by example, he lives a very active lifestyle whether that be in the gym weightlifting, playing volleyball, boxing and going on hikes. He is now in the process of becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Arvin believes in not only an individualized approach to therapy but as well as holistic approach to truly implement change.
Menashe RakhamimovOsteopath and Registered Massage Therapist R.M.T.
Menashe's began his health career after receiving his Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University. He then went on to obtain his Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice (D.O.M.P) where he is in good standing with the National Manual Osteopathic Society. Menashe also is a Personal Training Specialist and specializes in Fascial Stretch Therapy. He believes flexibility and moving comfortably is key to good health. Menashe incorporates various techniques to reduce pain and restrictions such as: Joint Mobilization, Muscle Energy and Fascial Stretching. Menashe is also a Registered Massage Therapist and a graduate of Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy. Hi is in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario and specializes in a variety of massage techniques including Lymphatic Drainage, Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage and Relaxation. For certain conditions or areas of discomfort he also incorporates a blend of osteopathic techniques, fascial stretching or massage therapy.
Ki Wai (Ryan) LauRegistered Massage Therapist and Foot Reflexologist R.M.T.
Ryan began his health career after receiving his Chinese Traditional Medicine Degree from Tianjing University. He then went on to obtain his training in foot reflexology In Toronto and has worked as a Reflexologist since 2019. Ryan continued his education at PSCC to become a Registered Massage Therapist. He specializes in pain and injury management. Ryan incorporates various techniques to reduce pain and restrictions such as: Foot Reflexology, Tuina Massage, Fascial Stretching and Deep Tissue Massage. His hobbies include board game and
walking his dog Corgi.
Kassandra O' BrienRegistered Massage Therapist RMT
Kassandra completed her BSc in Kinesiology as well as her Athletic Therapy certification at York University. During her time there, she worked with a variety of high level athletes where she gained a specialization in treating sport-related injuries using manual therapy, therapeutic modalities and rehabilitative exercise. Since graduating, she has gained experience working with MVA patients, treating conditions ranging from whiplash to more complex cases. She is also a certified First Responder with experience working in emergency care situations. She then went on to become a Registered Massage Therapist and has experience working with a wide range of different populations. She looks forward to sharing her passion for this field to help those who are striving to achieve their goals.
