Stuti DhingraClinic Director/Owner
Stuti has been practicing physiotherapy in Canada since 2002.She began her physiotherapy career as a physiotherapy assistant helping patients recover from various acute/chronic injuries. She started her career as an independent physiotherapist in 2004.She has accumulated immense knowledge over the years in her field dealing with MVA,EHC and WSIB clients. She joined the Physiomed team in year 2013. Stuti is committed to help her patients recover from injuries and achieve optimal health through different therapies to reach maximum recovery and return to pre-injury level of overall function.
Aakaash PatelClinic Manager
Aakaash graduated with a BSc and Specialized Honours in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from York University in 2016. He dabbled in different fields, as well as different clinics before finding a home at Physiomed Bramalea in 2019. Aakaash is in good standing with both COKO and OKA. He believes exercise is the closest thing we have to a panacea. Outside of the clinic you can find Aakaash at a Raptors game, eating desserts, or walking his dog.
Dr. Benedetto ValerioChiropractor
Dr. Benedetto Valerio has been practicing Chiropractic in the Province of Ontario since 2008. He holds a Doctrine of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College, as well as a Bachelor of Science with Honours, specializing in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University. Dr. Valerio is a member in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO), and the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA). He is a Certified Active Release Techniques (ART®) Provider of the Spine, Lower Limb, and Upper Limb and holds a fellowship to practice Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. Dr. Valerio has worked within the Physiomed Bramalea family since 2013. His professional experience has focused on treating patients who suffered injuries from athletics and repetitive activities to motor vehicle, workplace, and slip and fall accidents, as well as providing care to private patients. This includes providing rehabilitation services including soft tissue therapy, deep tissue therapy, various physical therapy modalities, spinal manipulation, joint mobilization, and acupuncture.
Charina MaramagPhysiotherapist
I’m Charina Maramag, a Registered Physiotherapist and is in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists in Ontario. I finished my BS Physical Therapy in Manila in 1998 and started my Ontario practice in 2009. I have an extensive clinical background in treating motor vehicle injuries (MVA), WSIB, OHIP, geriatrics, acute and chronic orthopedic conditions using Manual Therapy and Exercise Prescription. I am also trained in Acupuncture and Dry Needling, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Custom Orthotics/Gait Analysis. In my practice, I stress importance of addressing the specific rehabilitative needs of each patient to achieve functional goals and injury prevention.
Awse IbrahimResident Physiotherapist
Awse is a highly dynamic physiotherapist who has an excellent knowledge base in various musculoskeletal conditions. He has earned his Masters Degree in physiotherapy from England, UK in addition to his Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology and Health Science from Toronto, CA. Awse’s sports background and clinical expertise allow him to provide a uniquely modern approach to the field of rehabilitation science with an emphasis on research-based practice.
Marco BibatPhysiotherapy Assistant/MVA Co-ordinator
Marco showed a deep passion for sports and fitness even at an early age which led to his pursuit of a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion at Humber College and a degree in Kinesiology at Brock University. He joined the Physiomed Bramalea team in 2018 with the goal of working and expanding his knowledge in physio-fitness techniques and approach to patient recovery. Marco firmly believes that when it comes to rehabilitation, individualization is key. Therefore, it is crucial to incorporate individualized exercise programs with specific goals and needs which are precisely tailored for each patient.
Karen WongAcupuncturist
Karen Wong is our Registered Acupuncturist and has been part of the Physiomed health team since 2016. She has 18 years of experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine using modalities such as acupuncture, cupping and electrotherapy. She is also certified in head acupuncture, and modern cupping therapy. Acupuncture is well known for effective pain management. In addition, Karen also brings with her knowledge and skills helping patients with women’s health and fertility issues, sleep disorders, stress management and facial rejuvenation.
Sien TigleyRegistered Massage Therapist
Sien Tigley was not born a massage therapist, but the son of a proud father who loved music. In Sien’s lifetime, the common thread was always his love for massage, whether it was begrudgingly giving to his father and grandmother, sharing it with classmates and co-workers. Sien enthusiastically took several massage courses in 2009 before committing to a 2-year massage therapy program at Bryan College that saw him graduate in 2012. Sien went on to work in several prominent Physiotherapy clinics as well as gain even more experience in client's homes. Today, he still enjoys being a Registered Massage therapist and does what he loves best, giving and receiving massages
Dr. Mojan Zehtabchi, NDNaturopath
Dr. Mojan Zehtabchi, ND, completed her honours Bachelor of Science with an emphasis on Human Biology and Cell System Biology at University of Toronto in 2009. In 2013, Dr. Mojan Zehtabchi, ND received her doctorate degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) where she received many awards, including the Natural Standard Research Collaboration Academic Achievement Award during the four-year program.
Dr. Mojan Zehtabchi, ND is licensed and registered as a Naturopathic Doctor in Ontario by The College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO) and is a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND).
Dr. Mojan Zehtabchi, ND has treated a variety of conditions, from sports medicine to infertility, in a very challenging and fast-paced environment. She has completed her Naturopathic Doula training, which provides her with a more in-depth perspective on labour, as well as pre and postnatal health.
In her free time she volunteers with the Canadian MPS Society as a member on their Board of Directors and Research and Member Relations Committee. She also presents on a variety of health topics for organizations like the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, the National MPS Society (USA) and Hooper's Pharmacy to name a few.
