Dr. Godrej Engineer

Chiropractor/ Acupuncturist/ Clinic Director

A graduate of Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto (DC) and the University of Western Ontario (BSc.), Dr. Engineer is also a Certified Active Release Provider (ART), a Certified Contemporary Acupuncturist (D.Ac), and a Titleist Certified Golf Fitness Instructor. Dr. Engineer’s integrative approach to treatment, passion to educate and caring attitude lend his chiropractic skills to the successful treatment of his patients and ability to motivate them to a healthy lifestyle.

Patrick Holohan

Registered Physiotherapist

Patrick graduated as an Athletic Therapist in 2011 from Dublin City University. After completing an internship with the Pittsburgh Steelers working as an Athletic Trainer, he then went on to do the MSc Physiotherapy program at Queen Margaret University where he graduated with distinction in 2013. Patrick is a specialist in musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, having excellent experience working with both recreational and professional athletes, as well as with the general population. He enjoys solving challenging and complex injuries and follows a holistic and evidence based approach to his assessments and treatment. With a widespread sporting background, Patrick is dedicated to clinical excellence and apart from all things physiotherapy, he is a keen rugby player and sports fanatic.

Dr. Terence Chiu


Chiropractor/ Acupuncture Provider

Dr. Chiu graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto (DC) and from York University (BSc.). Dr. Chiu is also certified as a Contemporary Acupuncture provider as well as a Personal Wellness and Training Coach. It is through Dr. Chiu’s education, dedication and passion towards educating and treating patients in the past ten years, which has helped to inspire his patient’s to live a healthier and fulfilling lifestyle.

Joan Beaty

Athletic Therapist

Joan obtained her Rehabilitation Assistant Certification at Humber College. She has also pursued her Honours B.A in Kinesiology at York U with concurrent studies towards becoming a Certified Athletic Therapist. Joan strives to bring her passion and creativity to her patient focused approach and towards obtaining their rehabilitation goals towards a health focused lifestyle!

Clarissa De Leon


Athletic Therapist/ Physiotherapy Assistant

Clarissa completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Cell Biology at the University of Western Ontario and graduated with Dean’s Honour Roll status in 2006. She continued her post-university studies at The Michener Institute for Applied Sciences in the Chiropody program graduating with a Diploma in Podiatric Medicine in 2010. Throughout the program she has developed a special interest in diabetic foot care, surgery, and biomechanics. Clarissa strives to provide optimal patient care by implementing a patient-centered collaborative approach to treatment and education. She is committed to educating the public about Chiropody and its importance and benefits in achieving a healthy lifestyle.

William Francis


Registered Massage Therapist

William is a graduate of Sutherland Chan and became an RMT in 2001. William centers his practice on the specific requirements and expectations of the patient he is treating. William offers many modalities such as Hot Stone, Deep Tissue, Swedish and Sports Massage as well as Reflexology, Aroma Therapy, Cranio Sacral, Reiki, Trigger Point and Hydro Therapies. William also studied nutrition at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition and worked with Ambrosia Natural Foods and he is always happy to talk about nutrition. William chooses his massage oils based upon their nutritional profile and healing qualities. Through deep relaxation and deep de-stressing, whether you require a light soothing touch or deep tissue massage, William’s massage will help to alleviate pain and dysfunction and increase your sense of well-being.

Tara Hussein


Registered Massage Therapist

Tara specializes in Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Golgi Tendon Organ (GTO), Joint Mobilizations, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) and Remedial Exercises. Educating patients on maintaining good posture at work, at the gym or in their everyday life is something Tara focuses on and is passionate about. She considers massage therapy to be an essential tool to enjoying good health. Tara is not only able to focus on your problem areas but she looks at the body as a whole. She possesses a high appreciation for the human form and its mechanics and treats every individual with full respect and integrity.

Carlo Marcoccia


Registered Massage Therapist

Carlo is a Registered Massage Therapist with a passion for health and wellness. After graduating from Sutherland-Chan School & Teaching Clinic in 2011, he was fortunate to gain experience in a number of different clinics to help shape his craft. Physical fitness has been, and still is, a big part in Carlo’s life. During his time at Sutherland-Chan School & Teaching Clinic he developed the necessary skills to becoming a patient-based and compassionate therapist. He specializes in patients suffering from:

  • headaches/migraines
  • fribromyalgia
  • frozen shoulder
  • neck and lower back pain
  • pre and post-natal concerns
  • motor vehicle accidents
  • and so much more!

Shenelle Khan


Registered Massage Therapist

Shenelle is a Registered Massage Therapist since 2008. She has had the privilege of treating clients with a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. This includes everything from sports injuries to motor vehicle rehabilitation to stress relief treatments. She incorporates myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilizations, lymphatic drainage and deep tissue therapy into all her treatments. Shenelle always treats with the goals of her patients in mind and practices with a trusted balance of compassion, experience and integrity.

Jonathan Tunley

BKin, PT

MVA Coordinator

Jonathan his Bachelor of Business Degree in Kinesiology from Lakehead University. From here he developed his management skills and MVA expertise at different Physiomed’s throughout the GTA. Recently he received his MSc. in Physiotherapy in the United Kingdom and is currently preparing for his Canadian qualification exams. Jonathan is a key component to the Physiomed Leaside Team and is always eager to help and answer all our patient questions.

Vindra Maharaj

Accounts Manager/Customer Service

Vindra attended Humber College to study general arts and science before entering the field of medical administration. Vindra demonstrates a key interest in patient care and rehabilitation. Vindra has always shown a specific interest our patient’s health and wellness.

Cheryl Ramadal-Ali

Customer Service Specialist

Cheryl graduated in 2006 from the National Academy of Health and Business with a Diploma certificate for Medical administration. With her great passion for health, wellness and patient care for the past 9 years, she strives on improving the experience for all patients at Physiomed Leaside.
