Naturopathic Doctor

From a young age, I always believed we are all meant to feel our most vibrant, energetic and pain-free versions of ourselves. After living in Japan for four years and seeing the common knowledge most laypeople had about their health, natural treatments and ways to rebalance, I was further convinced that I needed to study naturopathic medicine. After returning to Canada 20 years ago, I was thrilled to be accepted into the programme at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. I’ve never looked back nor once felt I have to go to “work” since the day I started practicing. Each day brings new patients in my door, with new challenges and goals. This means every day is an opportunity to combine detective skills for what may have been missed, with medical skills and a treatment plan for optimizing health. Whether it’s hormone balancing or weight goals, headaches or stomach complaints, inflammation & chronic pain or seeking improved health and wellness, the goal is the same though each plan is unique. My fervent belief is that EVERYONE, regardless of where their health journey begins, can progress to reach new goals through the tools of nutrition, botanical medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, counseling and/or Traditional Chinese Medicine. It all starts with one step on the pathway. Let’s begin that step together!

I have 12 years of post secondary education at renowned schools in Canada. After graduation from the University of Toronto in 1998 I completed four years at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College graduating Magna Cum Laude. I then studied Podriatic Medicine, graduating in this field in 2013 as one of only four dual registrants in Ontario in this field of education. My passion to help people is what drives me, with a specific interest in biomechanics and posture and how it leads to dysfunction. I predominantly work with disorders of feet but my education allows me to treat the entire body.
