When it comes to protecting our spine, strengthening the muscles that support it is key. An excellent exercise for this is Hard Plank or Plank performed “hard style”. When doing this, the most important position we need to find is “neutral spine” – once there, we begin strengthen the muscles supporting our spine using some simple techniques while making sure not to deviate from this “neutral spine” position.
