Improving Heart Health With Shorter Workouts

A common misconception is that you have to spend 30-60 minutes doing cardio exercises in order to improve your cardiovascular health. In fact, you actually can get a good cardiovascular workout with shorter, more intense periods of exercise. The key, however, is making sure to engage your entire body while exercising.

In the following video, Dr. Jason Lemieux of Physiomed Oakville demonstrates a number of ways to get a solid cardiovascular workout without spending 30-60 minutes doing traditional steady state cardio exercises.
