The talocalcaneonavicular joint (TCN), a ball and socket joint located in the middle of each foot, stabilizes our arches and allows us to generate maximum torque/power. In order to minimize pain and ensure maximum benefit from exercise and everyday activities, it’s important to ensure you have a neutral posture with your TCN (as well as your hips and shoulders – our body’s other ball and socket joints).
